How adaptive meal planning works
Answer a short questionnaire — goals, body stats, training days, dietary type, allergies and intolerances, and the foods you actually like. It takes 2–4 minutes and no payment is required to complete it.
The Engine builds your first seven days: every meal portioned to your daily calorie and macro targets, with recipes and a weekly shopping list included.
Training days, rest days and higher-calorie days each get their own targets, so you fuel hard sessions without overeating on easy days.
Swap any food or meal you don’t feel like — the Engine rebalances the rest of the day so your totals still land.
Each week you check in with your progress, and the Engine updates your targets and next week’s plan. Keep the meals you loved or ask for something new.
What happens when I eat out or go off plan?
One meal never ruins the week. Log what you actually ate — a restaurant meal, a snack, a drink — and the Engine adjusts the rest of the day around it instead of pretending it didn’t happen.
That’s the core difference between an adaptive plan and a static PDF meal plan: a static plan breaks the first time life happens; an adaptive one absorbs it and keeps you moving.
Does it work with my dietary preferences and allergies?
The questionnaire captures your dietary type (including vegetarian and vegan), preferred proteins and carbs, breakfast style, meal complexity, intolerances and major allergens — and your plan is built inside those rules, not around them.
Meal Engine is allergen-aware, not allergy-safe: it filters suggestions by the allergens you declare, but you should always check labels and follow your clinician’s advice for medical dietary needs.
How is this different from a meal plan from a coach?
A human coach checks in with you weekly at best. The Engine watches every day: it knows your plan, your logged food and your progress, and it re-plans in seconds instead of waiting for your next appointment.
You still get the structure of coaching — weekly reviews, updated targets, honest feedback — without paying coach prices or waiting on replies.
Do I have to cook complicated recipes?
No. You choose how much effort each meal should take — fast and simple or full recipes — per meal, not per plan. The shopping list covers the whole week either way.
Common questions
Can I swap meals I don’t like?
Yes. Any meal or individual food can be swapped, and the Engine rebalances the rest of the day so your calorie and macro targets still hold.
How often does my plan change?
Targets and plans update at your weekly check-in based on your progress and feedback. You can keep meals you loved, refresh part of the week, or start completely new.
Is the plan built for training days?
Yes. If you train, your plan includes separate training, rest and refeed day targets so your intake matches your output across the week.
Do I need to pay before seeing how it works?
No. The questionnaire is free and takes 2–4 minutes; you see your subscription options and choose PLAN or TRACK before any payment.
