COACHING THAT KEEPS UP WITH YOU

Your body changes weekly. Now your plan does too.

Updated August 20, 2026

Meal Engine runs a weekly check-in: you log your weight and how the week went, and the Engine reviews your trend, adherence and feedback. It then updates your calorie and macro targets in sensible, gradual steps and refreshes next week’s plan — keeping the meals you loved or building something new.

What happens at a weekly check-in

  1. Log your weight and answer a few quick questions about the week — energy, hunger, how the plan felt.

  2. The Engine reviews your weight trend against your goal, alongside what you actually logged — not just what was planned.

  3. Targets update in measured steps where the data supports it. No crash adjustments, no dramatic swings — changes stay gradual and sensible.

  4. Next week’s plan is rebuilt around the new targets. Keep the meals you loved, refresh part of the week, or ask for something completely new.

Why weekly — not daily or monthly?

Daily weight is mostly noise: water, sodium, sleep and stress can swing the scale a kilo either way overnight. Reacting daily means chasing noise. Waiting a month means losing weeks to a stalled plan.

A weekly rhythm is the sweet spot: enough data to see the real trend, fast enough to correct course before frustration sets in.

What happens when I plateau?

This is where most people guess: eat less? train harder? start again Monday? The Engine replaces guessing with a structured review — your trend, your adherence and your feedback decide the next adjustment, and you see the reasoning behind it.

Plateaus stop being a crisis and become what they actually are: a signal the plan needs a measured tweak.

What if I had a bad week?

Log it honestly and check in anyway. The Engine adjusts based on what actually happened — there’s no judgment and no punishment maths. An honest bad week gives the system better information than a perfect-looking lie, and the plan simply picks up from where you really are.

Common questions

Do I have to check in every week?

It’s strongly encouraged — the check-in is what keeps your targets matched to your body. Miss one and you simply pick up at the next; the Engine works with the data it has.

Will my meals change completely every week?

Only if you want them to. At each check-in you choose: keep the meals you loved, mix part of the week up, or start fresh.

Are the adjustments safe?

Changes are made in gradual, bounded steps rather than dramatic cuts, and the Engine explains what changed and why at every check-in.

Does TRACK mode get check-ins too?

Yes. TRACK runs a conversational weekly review with the Engine and recalibrates your targets the same way — it just doesn’t rebuild set meals.
